This page explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website www.ik8.it.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website may store on a user’s device. They may be necessary for the technical operation of the website or, where the required authorisation has been obtained, used for analytics, profiling or advertising.
2. Current IK8 Configuration
The IK8 website does not currently use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. Google Analytics, Google Tag, advertising pixels and other systems that track visitor behaviour are not active.
No optional cookies are used during normal public browsing. WordPress technical authentication and preference cookies are associated exclusively with access by authorised users to the administration area and not with public browsing of the website.
TranslatePress manages the language versions through separate website addresses, such as / for Italian and /en/ for English. It is not used to profile users.
3. Services Not Used
The public frontend does not contain contact forms, social-media iframes, embedded videos, maps, fonts loaded from Google or social plugins that set third-party cookies. Fonts are hosted directly on the ik8.it domain.
4. Links to External Services
The LinkedIn and WhatsApp links are simple text links. No content from these services is loaded automatically on IK8. Only when the user chooses to open a link may the external service process data or use cookies in accordance with its own privacy policy.
5. Consent and Cookie Banner
As no optional cookies are set during the verified public browsing experience, no consent banner is displayed. Any technical cookies used in the WordPress administration area are limited to authorised users and do not require prior consent.
If analytics, embedded content or other non-essential tools are introduced in the future, this Policy will be updated and, where required, those tools will be blocked until the user has made a choice.
6. Browser Settings
Users can view or delete cookies through their browser settings. Under the current configuration, normal public browsing of IK8 does not depend on optional cookies. Removing technical cookies from the administration area may require authorised users to sign in again or reset their backend preferences.
